India dominates West Indies, Jadeja, Kuldeep shine
India’s spinners had a field day as Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav ran riot on day two of the second Test. By stumps, West Indies were 140/4, trailing by 378 runs after Jadeja (3-37) and Kuldeep (1-45) triggered a collapse. West Indies were cruising at 87/1, but suddenly, they were reeling at 107/4. Shai Hope, stuck on 31*, was the lone resistance.
India’s mammoth first-innings total of 518/5 set the stage. Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal’s centuries left the visitors chasing shadows. The West Indies showed brief signs of fight, with Alick Athanaze and Tagenarine Chanderpaul hanging in, but Jadeja’s magic broke their stand. Jadeja and Kuldeep picked off wickets, and India closed day two firmly in control.
