India’s SUV craze explodes as hybrid cars soar
Indian buyers are feeling more positive this festive season. A report shows that 41 percent plan to buy a vehicle in the next few months. Many held off buying in hopes of simpler taxes, showing that lower prices are making people feel better about spending.
The report says more people want hybrid cars, with 38 percent choosing them over petrol or electric models. SUVs remain popular, with 64 percent of people preferring them. Safety is also important, as 34 percent say they care more about it than price or fuel efficiency.
More buyers are willing to pay extra for better features. Many also check both online and offline sources before buying.
