IREDA profit surges 41 percent in Q2 FY26

IREDA posted a 41% jump in net profit at ₹549 crore for July to September, up from ₹388 crore a year earlier. Revenue rose 26% to ₹2,057 crore, and loan sanctions soared 145% to ₹21,408 crore. Disbursements also climbed 81% to ₹8,062 crore in the same period. Its loan book hit ₹84,477 crore, marking a 31% rise from last year.

The firm’s net worth grew 38% to ₹12,920 crore. Leaders said the growth shows IREDA’s strong role in driving India’s green energy goals. Union Minister Pralhad Joshi praised the performance as a boost to the nation’s clean energy plans. IREDA’s chief said the results reflect steady progress and trust from partners.
