JD(U) names 57 candidates for Bihar elections
The Janata Dal (United) released its first list of 57 candidates for the Bihar Assembly elections. The list includes ministers and some new candidates. Anant Kumar Singh will run for the Mokama seat, while Vijay Kumar Choudhary will contest from Sarairanjan. Shyam Rajak will represent JD(U) in Phulwarisharif, and Ramanand Mandal will run for Suryagarha. Umesh Singh Kushwaha, Maheshwar Hazari, Ratnesh Sada, Amrendra Pratap Singh, and Sunil Kumar will also run for various seats. Komal Singh, daughter of an LJP MP, will run for Gaighat. JD(U) is contesting 101 seats as part of the NDA’s seat-sharing plan.
