Johane Masowe Chishanu tackles drug abuse in Mbare
Johane Masowe Chishanu Graspa held a campaign in Mbare to tackle rising drug abuse. The event aimed to help youth and unite the community in fighting drug distribution linked to cartels. It supported Zimbabwe’s goals for public health and social unity, as outlined in the National Development Strategy 2.
Mr. Admire Manga, a church leader, explained that the church is combining faith and community action to support national growth. He said the church welcomes those struggling with addiction, offering them faith and hope. Mr. Manga also highlighted the connection between drug abuse and social issues like child abuse and violence. The church advocates for hard work and avoiding drugs to help young people build a better future.
