Jordan Pickford signs new Everton deal until 2029
Everton FC has confirmed that goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has signed a new contract extending until June 2029, continuing his journey with the club since his 2017 transfer from Sunderland. The 31-year-old has played 326 matches for Everton and has 80 caps for the England national team, setting a new record with 9 consecutive clean sheets.
Pickford expressed his happiness after signing, saying Everton is a special club where he has grown both as a player and a person. He aims to help the team return to European competition and believes the tough times are behind them with new management and a clear vision.
Pickford, who has won the club’s Player of the Season award four times, hopes to end his career at Everton by winning a major trophy and leaving a lasting legacy like legendary goalkeeper Neville Southall.
