Saïd Benrahma fined £12,000 over dog attack in UK

A British court in Willesden has imposed a £12,000 financial penalty on Algerian international Saïd Benrahma, a player for Lyon FC, following an incident during his time at West Ham United. The case, dating back to July 2023, involved two dogs owned by Benrahma attacking British citizen Luke Rhiben.

Benrahma appeared before the court via video link after a lawsuit was filed by Rhiben. The court concluded its investigation today and, after hearing Benrahma’s statements, issued the financial penalty.
