Khaleda Zia admitted to Dhaka hospital for routine check-up

BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia was taken to Evercare Hospital in Dhaka for a routine medical check-up early Thursday morning, arriving around 12:20 am. She left her residence in Gulshan for the hospital on Wednesday night at 11:40 pm, as confirmed by BNP media cell member Shairul Kabir Khan.

Her personal physician, Professor Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain, confirmed the admission, stating it was part of her scheduled health exams. The former prime minister last visited Evercare Hospital on 28 August. Tight security was reported around the hospital during her arrival, as she has been receiving treatment for various health issues.
