Khaleda Zia admitted to Evercare Hospital for routine check-up

BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia was taken to Evercare Hospital in Dhaka for a routine medical check-up early Thursday morning, arriving around 12:20 am. She left her residence in Gulshan at 11:40 pm on Wednesday for the hospital, as confirmed by BNP media cell member Shairul Kabir Khan.

Her personal physician, Professor Dr AZM Zahid Hossain, confirmed the visit was part of her scheduled health examinations. Khaleda Zia had last visited the hospital on 28 August for medical tests. The former prime minister has been receiving ongoing treatment for multiple health issues. Tight security was reported around the hospital during her arrival.
