KOICA celebrates 30 years of partnership with Bangladesh at KBAA Night 2025

The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Bangladesh Office celebrated 30 years of partnership with Bangladesh at the “KBAA Night 2025” event, held on October 16 at Hotel Sheraton Dhaka. The event, organized by the Korea Bangladesh Alumni Association (KBAA), welcomed over 200 participants, including KOICA alumni, senior government officials, and development partners.

The evening highlighted KOICA’s contributions to Bangladesh since 1995, including in sectors such as public health, governance, transport, education, and ICT innovation. KOICA’s country director, Jihoon Kim, and the Ambassador of Korea, Park Young-sik, reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to Bangladesh’s sustainable growth.

The event also featured the election of new KBAA members, cultural performances, and the presentation of the Best Field Case Award. KOICA’s deputy country director, Sujin Kong, concluded the event with gratitude, emphasizing the importance of people-to-people connections in their ongoing partnership.
