Kovachev rips left-wing agenda on refugees in Europe
Andrey Kovachev, an MEP from GERB in the EPP, said the no-confidence votes against Ursula von der Leyen were just far-left propaganda. He spoke on NOVA NEWS about the Palestinian refugee issue in Europe. Kovachev said Europe made a mistake by accepting the most radicalized refugees and that Western Europe doesn’t control what is preached in mosques.
He also stated that Palestine and Israel should exist as separate states with strong security for Israel. Kovachev condemned terrorist groups like Hamas and Islamic Jihad for causing instability in the Middle East.
He added that Europe needs to strengthen its military to handle ongoing geopolitical crises. Kovachev noted that France’s fragmented parliament makes it hard to resolve the current crisis.
