Kriti Sanon celebrates one year of ‘Do Patti’ as producer

Actress Kriti Sanon celebrated the first anniversary of Do Patti, her debut production through Blue Butterfly Films, on Saturday. The thriller featured Sanon in dual roles as twin sisters Saumya and Shailee, marking her first time portraying twins alongside Kajol and Shaheer Sheikh in his Hindi cinema debut.

Director Shashanka Chaturvedi helmed the film from a screenplay by Kanika Dhillon about a police officer investigating attempted murder allegations between a married couple and the wife’s envious twin. Tanvi Azmi appeared in a supporting capacity, while Mart Ratassepp handled cinematography, and Naman Arora, with Hemal Kothari, managed editing.

Sanon recently completed filming Cocktail 2 in Sicily with director Homi Adajania. The actress will appear opposite Shahid Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna in that sequel.

Sanon will also star in Tere Ishk Mein opposite Dhanush, under the direction of Aanand L. Rai, marking their first collaboration.
