Man killed, 18 injured in Selangor bus crash
A man was killed and 18 others injured when their express bus crashed into a signpost at KM 293.4 of the North-South Expressway near Bangi, Selangor, early this morning.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said they were alerted to the incident at 2:57 a.m. The 59-year-old man was trapped and confirmed dead by medical staff, while the injured passengers were treated at the scene.
The operation involved 18 firefighters from Bangi, Seri Kembangan, and KLIA stations, as well as the Emergency Medical Rescue Services unit.
