Traffic diversions planned for Asean Summit in KL
Traffic diversions will begin on October 23 in key areas for the 47th ASEAN Summit at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) from October 26-28. Bukit Aman Traffic Department director Datuk Seri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri said motorcade rehearsals will take place from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) to KLCC and nearby hotels on October 23-24.
Temporary diversions will affect major highways and roads between KLIA and KLCC, with road closures and diversions within a 1-kilometer radius of KLCC from October 25-28.
These measures are aimed at ensuring smooth travel for delegates and public safety. Detailed information on the affected routes and schedule will be provided soon. The public is urged to cooperate to help ensure the summit’s success.
