Mbappe cleared after Madrid injury scare, set for Real return

Kylian Mbappe completed medical tests in Madrid that showed no serious injury to his right ankle, according to journalist Arancha Rodriguez. The Real Madrid star is expected to rejoin group training next week to get ready for upcoming matches.

Mbappe injured his ankle in a game against Villarreal last week and missed some training with the French national team during the break. He started against Azerbaijan in World Cup qualifiers, but left the match late after feeling discomfort in his ankle, then went back to Madrid for more checks.

Real Madrid faces Getafe on Oct. 19 in La Liga and Juventus on Oct. 22 in the Champions League.
