Palermo boss Inzaghi rejects Saudi move, backs brother Simone

Palermo coach Filippo Inzaghi addressed rumors about coaching in Saudi Arabia, following his brother Simone, who leads Al Hilal. Inzaghi said he often talks with Simone and shares ideas and advice, noting that their coaching styles are similar.

He praised Simone’s bold move to Saudi Arabia and said working in different leagues helps coaches grow. Filippo called Simone one of Italy’s best coaches, pointing to his record of reaching the UEFA Champions League final twice in three years.

However, Filippo made it clear he has no plans to move to the Saudi league and wants to stay in Italian football for as long as he can.
