Mnangagwa vows harsh punishment for ritual murders and sexual violence
President Mnangagwa has issued a stern warning to those involved in ritual murders, sexual violence, and other heinous crimes, declaring that they will face the full force of the law. With an alarming rise in such crimes, including ritual murders and sexual abuse, the President stressed that Zimbabwe values the sanctity of life and such criminal acts have no place in the nation.
Speaking at the Zanu PF Politburo meeting, he condemned the growing violence, particularly the recent tragic cases, including the deaths of three children in an abandoned vehicle and the brutal killing of a woman in Masvingo. The police are actively pursuing suspects in these and other ongoing investigations, with the President reaffirming Zimbabwe’s commitment to peace and justice.
