Mongolia eyes Indian mining, oil, and tech investments

Mongolia’s Deputy Prime Minister, S. Amarsaikhan, spoke about good chances for Indian businesses in mining and oil exploration in Mongolia. He also mentioned other areas like transport, healthcare, and banking. The forum, organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and others, invited Indian oil companies to work with Mongolia.

Amarsaikhan pointed out Mongolia’s location between China and Russia and its Free Trade Agreements with Japan, which offer good access to markets. He also talked about a $1.7 billion oil refinery project that will help meet local demand.

The Ambassador of India to Mongolia, Atul Gotsurve, discussed mining opportunities, while others talked about technology, tourism, and partnerships.
