Myanmar holds graduation ceremony for 16th People’s Military Service intake

Graduation ceremonies were held nationwide for the sixteenth intake of People’s Military Service trainees. At local training depots, the trainees took an oath of allegiance while holding the State Flag, following military tradition. Officials presented various awards, including for marksmanship, military parade, and section combat.

The chairman of the Nay Pyi Taw Council, along with regional chief ministers and military commanders, met with the new graduates to offer encouragement. The training curriculum included physical fitness, military tactics, and general studies. The graduates are now assigned to battalions and units where they will perform national defence and security duties, having acquired skills in teamwork and organization. The program fulfills a constitutional duty for citizens to defend the state.
