Myanmar, Russia discuss health cooperation, cancer treatment
Union Minister for Health Dr. Thet Khaing Win met with Mr. Evgeny Grigoryev, a Russian government official, and his delegation in Nay Pyi Taw. They discussed strengthening health cooperation between Myanmar and Russia, including ongoing collaboration with the Napalkov Cancer Centre in Saint Petersburg. Topics included cancer and diabetes medicine imports from Saint Petersburg, sending Myanmar specialists to Russia for training, and cooperation between medical universities. They also talked about treatment for neurological and infectious diseases in children. The meeting was attended by various officials, including the Russian Ambassador to Myanmar.
