Netanyahu vows Israel won’t seek approval to strike
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared on Sunday that his government will strike Gaza and Lebanon targets without seeking external permission, despite active ceasefire agreements in both regions. The statement came after senior American officials spent the previous week working to strengthen the Gaza truce.
Netanyahu addressed government ministers and emphasized that Israel operates as an independent nation responsible for its security decisions. He rejected any suggestion that outside approval would guide military actions. The prime minister stated his country will defend itself through its resources and maintain control over its strategic choices.
