New Dala court building opens

A new courthouse for Dala Township was officially inaugurated on Friday as Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein joined local officials for the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Diamond City Co Ltd constructed the four-story facility using funds totaling 2.6 billion kyats from the Union Supreme Court budget allocated across three consecutive fiscal years beginning in 2022-2023.

During the event, the construction company’s managing director provided details about the building project before transferring documentation to Dala Township Justice. The chief minister and his delegation toured the completed courthouse following the formal handover.
