Nikolay Denkov elected deputy chairman of We continue the change
The National Council of the party “We continue the change” elected Nikolay Denkov as the party’s deputy chairman, as announced by the party. Denkov’s nomination was proposed by party leader Assen Vassilev, in line with changes to the party’s statute approved by the General Assembly in September. The new statute stipulates that the deputy chairman is nominated by the Executive Council and approved by the National Council. Additionally, an Ethics Commission was established to investigate allegations of corruption and violations and take necessary actions.
