From the start of the year until October, over 93,000 square meters of sidewalks in Sofia were renovated, with an investment of around 17 million leva. The work, part of a municipality program, includes complete repairs and the laying of new unipavement or asphalt concrete. By year-end, more than 440,000 square meters will have been renovated over three years. Mayor Vasil Terziev highlighted that the improvements aim to make Sofia more accessible, calmer, and beautiful. The renovation program will continue next year, with a focus on high-traffic areas and public spaces.
