Peevski backs 120 leva allowance

Delyan Peevski, who leads the MRF-New Beginning faction, has endorsed the proposal to distribute 120 leva holiday payments to retirees. When reporters questioned whether he would relinquish personal security details to fund pension benefits, Peevski deflected by suggesting journalists first inquire about President Rumen Radev’s motorcade arrangements with the National Security Service.

Peevski thanked GERB leader Boyko Borisov and the transport minister for backing the closure of government aviation operations, stating funds would be redirected toward firefighting aircraft. Regarding the euro referendum controversy, he criticized Radev for lacking proper legal counsel and misunderstanding Constitutional Court rulings on the matter.
