PPP pushes peace, pay hikes and cheaper essentials

Dr. Thet Thet Khine, leader of the People’s Pioneer Party, addressed the nation by outlining her party’s priorities and policy proposals ahead of the 2025 election. She emphasized that the party, often called the 3-P party, was formed to advance practical solutions focused on people’s daily needs. The party’s programs, which follow a staged plan covering 100 days, one year, and five years, focus on improving living standards, tackling inflation, and creating more job opportunities. Key proposals include making it easier for young people to find work, boosting support for farmers and low-income households, and enhancing services for workers both within Myanmar and abroad. Additional measures involve strengthening support for civil servants and providing incentives such as housing, pensions, and insurance.

The party also outlined its approach to address ongoing conflicts and rebuild communities hit by disasters. The plan calls for humanitarian assistance, better infrastructure, and economic reforms intended to lift the national standard of living and make Myanmar more competitive in the region. The policies also prioritize national reconciliation, economic stability, and cooperation between the public and private sectors. Efforts to promote renewable energy, modernize transport, and connect with international markets are part of the strategy to drive long-term growth and stability for the country.
