PSG moves top of Ligue 1 with 3-0 win at Brest

Paris Saint-Germain defeated Brest 3-0 on Saturday to reclaim first place in Ligue 1 after Marseille lost 2-1 at Lens in the later match. Achraf Hakimi scored twice for PSG, finding the net in the 29th and 39th minutes before Desire Doue added a third goal in stoppage time. The victory gave PSG their sixth win of the season and moved them two points clear of Marseille, who dropped to third place behind Lens.

Mason Greenwood put Marseille ahead early at Lens, but Odsonne Edouard converted a penalty and Benjamin Pavard scored an own goal to hand the hosts three points. Ousmane Dembele returned from injury for PSG, entering as a substitute in the second half for his first league appearance since late September. Monaco secured a 1-0 victory over Toulouse through Mohammed Salisu’s early header, giving new manager Sebastien Pocognoli his first win after replacing Adi Hutter two weeks earlier.
