Rajesh Kumar calls Satish Shah a father figure after loss

Rajesh Kumar mourned the death of Satish Shah, a colleague on Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, comparing the loss to losing a parent. The actor described Shah as energetic and humorous while acknowledging his significant contributions to Indian entertainment.

Producer JD Majethia confirmed Shah’s passing through social media. Cremation services took place at Pawan Hans Cremation Ground in Vile Parle West, Mumbai, at noon on Sunday, October 26.

P.D. Hinduja Hospital staff responded to an emergency call at Shah’s residence but found him unresponsive. Medical personnel performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation in the ambulance and continued treatment after hospital arrival, though revival efforts proved unsuccessful.

Shah’s widow, designer Madhu Shah, survives him. The Main Hoon Na performer’s sudden death sent shockwaves through Bollywood’s acting community.
