Rajshahi University election campaign ends ahead of vote

Campaigning for the Rajshahi University elections ended on Tuesday, and the campus was filled with excitement. Candidates connected with voters by distributing leaflets and engaging with students across various locations.

Tasin Khan, the first female VP candidate in RUCSU’s history, mentioned the challenge of managing her independent campaign. A total of 247 candidates are running for 23 RUCSU posts, with panels backed by Chhatra Dal and Chhatra Shibir among them.

Polling for the RUCSU and Senate elections will take place from 9 am to 4 pm tomorrow, with results expected on the same day. The total electorate is 28,901 students, including both male and female voters.
