Ram Charan takes Peddi shoot to Sri Lanka
The production team for director Buchi Babu Sana’s action film Peddi has traveled to Sri Lanka to film the next portion of the project. Ram Charan stars in the lead role, with shooting scheduled across various locations on the island for several days. A video circulating online captured the Telugu actor arriving at the airport before his departure.
Venkata Satish Kilaru produces the film through Vriddhi Cinemas, with Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings presenting the large-scale production. The cast features Kannada actor Shiva Rajkumar in a supporting role, alongside Jagapathi Babu and Divyendu Sharma. Cinematographer R Rathnavelu and editor Navin Nooli lead the technical team.
The crew previously filmed a musical sequence with 1,000 dancers in Mysore on Vinayaka Chavithi, choreographed by Jani Master. Post-production work continues alongside filming to maintain the release timeline. The film opens in theaters across India on March 27, 2026, marking Charan’s birthday.
