Actor Ram Charan and wife Upasana Konidela announced they are expecting their second child. Upasana shared a video on Instagram from Diwali celebrations that showed family members and friends giving gifts and blessings. The couple married in Hyderabad in 2012 after getting engaged the previous December. Their first daughter, Klin Kaara Konidela, was born in 2023.

Ram Charan appeared most recently in Game Changer, a political action drama directed by Shankar. The film cast him in two roles opposite Kiara Advani and featured a story about a government official fighting corruption. His next project is Peddi, a sports film directed by Buchi Babu Sana with actors Shiva Rajkumar and Janhvi Kapoor.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Ram Charan on Friday, Oct. 12, for promoting archery through the Archery Premier League. The actor and Anil Kamineni organized the first season of the professional tournament at the Yamuna Sports Complex in New Delhi. Ram Charan posted about meeting Modi after the event concluded.
