Remo D’Souza to direct high-octane thriller Dongri

Choreographer-filmmaker Remo D’Souza is set to direct his next film Dongri, a raw, emotional, and powerful story rooted in Mumbai. The plot follows a young, ambitious challenger trying to take over the city’s biggest Don, leading to a thrilling and explosive rivalry. The film promises high-action, drama, and music.

Remo described the film as a genre he’s always been fascinated by, and he’s excited to work with Sandeep Singh and Milap Zaveri. The screenplay and dialogues are by Milap Zaveri, and the film is produced by Sandeep Singh’s Legend Studios.

Milap added that writing Dongri was an exciting experience, blending raw emotion with powerful dialogue. Sandeep Singh shared his excitement, calling the film a surprise and a unique project for Legend Studios.

The film will start shooting in February 2026 and is set to release on October 9, 2026. Music will be composed by Sachin-Jigar.
