Rory McIlroy sparks golf revolution in India

Golf in India is getting more popular. In 2014, Tiger Woods sparked interest when he visited, and this year, Rory McIlroy’s visit has made it even bigger. McIlroy is a Grand Slam winner and has the Green Jacket.

Yuvraj Narain, a top leader at DP World, believes this event will inspire young Indians. He thinks golf will grow in India and become more for everyone, not just for the rich. DP World wants to make sport a bigger part of Indian life and help young people stay active.

Narain sees this golf event as the start of something bigger for Indian sports. He believes India can host many world-class tournaments in the future.
