Sammy Ayeh hails NDC as Ghana’s youth party
A presidential aide asserted the National Democratic Congress best serves Ghanaian youth interests through sustained appointments and inclusive policies. Dr. Sammy Ayeh said the party demonstrates a genuine commitment to young people through governance decisions under President John Mahama.
Ayeh told Channel One TV on Monday that approximately 60 percent of current government appointments involve younger officials. He attributed the party’s 2024 electoral success to youth voters who comprised 62 percent of the electorate and responded to NDC messaging on employment and educational equality.
The staffer said the administration plans deeper youth engagement in national development. He affirmed the party will maintain its focus on younger Ghanaians through targeted policies and central roles in transformation efforts.
