Sanjay Kapoor mourns mother’s absence at Karwa Chauth bash

Sanjay Kapoor said he missed his mother’s blessing this Karwa Chauth, sharing family photos from Sunita Kapoor’s star-studded celebration on Friday. The event at Sunita’s home brought together the Kapoor women along with Shilpa Shetty, Mira Kapoor, Bhavana Panday, Natasha Dhawan, Geeta Basra, and Raveena Tandon.

Sanjay, Anil, and Boney Kapoor’s mother, Nirmal Kapoor, died in May at age 90. She was grandmother to Arjun, Sonam, Janhvi, Khushi, Harshvardhan, Shanaya, and Mohit. Anil and Boney immersed her ashes in the Ganga, where their father’s remains were laid a decade earlier.

Anil remembered Nirmal as the quiet strength of the family, saying her love and care touched many lives and held everyone together.
