Seyi Makinde says hunger is Nigeria’s biggest defection

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State said the most important change Nigeria needs is the end of hunger and poverty. He made this statement after several governors left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC). Makinde believes Nigerians should focus on when hunger will leave their lives, not just political movements. He warned that widening inequality is causing frustration, and only Nigerians can decide the outcome of the 2027 election.
