Spetsov removes Manyakhin from Lukoil Neftochim post
Rumen Spetsov has removed Evgeni Manyakhin from his position as Chairman of the Board of Directors at Lukoil Neftochim Burgas, though Manyakhin retains his board membership. The special commercial manager’s decision strips Manyakhin of his authority to represent the refinery, with registration of these changes currently being processed through the Commercial Register.
Spetsov, a former National Revenue Agency executive director, was appointed following an extraordinary Security Council meeting under the Council of Ministers. Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov initiated the selection process after amendments to the Law on the Administrative Regulation of Economic Activities Related to Oil and Oil Products were published in the State Gazette.
The special representative has not yet taken similar actions at three other Bulgarian entities within the Russian group: Lukoil Aviation Bulgaria, Lukoil-Bulgaria Bunker, and Lukoil-Bulgaria. Spetsov serves as manager alongside Russian citizen Mikhail Sizov at the aviation and bunker companies, while Alexander Velichkov joins him in managing Lukoil-Bulgaria.
