SSNIT educates Asawase students in Ashanti Region
The Social Security and National Insurance Trust visited Asawase Presbyterian Basic School on Monday, Oct. 20, 2025, to teach junior high students about pension benefits in the Ashanti Region. Kumasi Area Manager Henry Imoru led staff members who read materials about the trust’s operations to students, but he also asked pupils to become ambassadors for the organization. The outreach coincided with the trust’s 60th anniversary celebrations, and it formed part of Mobile Service Week when officials bring services directly to members.
Assistant Headmaster Ofori Odamtey thanked the trust for helping students learn about retirement planning, and he urged workers to contribute regularly to secure their financial futures. Imoru told students that management wanted to educate young people about the pension system’s importance. The trust expanded its educational efforts to reach future workers at the basic school level.
