Steve O’Keefe backs Stuart Broad’s claim on worst Aussie team since 2010

Former Australian all-rounder Steve O’Keefe has supported Stuart Broad’s remark that Australia has the “worst” team since 2010 ahead of the Ashes series. O’Keefe agreed with Broad, adding that this is the most vulnerable Australia has looked in recent years. He pointed out that England’s current team is the best since 2010, comparing it to the squad Australia had when England last won the Ashes in 2010-2011.

O’Keefe also mentioned that while Australia’s team from that era had some of the greatest cricketers, it was imbalanced, particularly in spin bowling. He agreed with Broad’s sentiment that Australia is under pressure and tipped England to win the series. O’Keefe emphasized the importance of such bold comments in the cricketing conversation, calling it a refreshing character.

Meanwhile, Australia’s captain Pat Cummins is facing fitness concerns with a stress fracture in his back, and he may miss the opening Test of the series on November 21.
