Tarique Rahman calls for unity in BNP ranks

BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman told party members on Sunday they must support candidates chosen by the party for the 13th national election. He made this clear during interviews with potential candidates from the Chattogram and Rangpur divisions at the party chairperson’s Gulshan office. Rahman joined the session remotely from London.

Party sources said the BNP will conduct interviews on Monday for nomination seekers from Dhaka, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal, and Sylhet divisions at the same location. Rahman will participate through video link. The BNP Media Cell confirmed these plans. Candidates seeking nominations have been instructed not to create disturbances with other party members at the venue.
