Tata Communications sees profit drop 19.3% despite revenue growth in Q2 FY26
Tata Communications reported a net profit of Rs 183.21 crore for Q2 FY26, a 19.3% decline from Rs 227.27 crore in the same quarter last year. The profit also dropped 3.64% from the previous quarter. Despite this, the company saw revenue growth, with gross revenue increasing by 6.5% to Rs 6,100 crore.
Data revenue grew 7.3% YoY to Rs 5,179 crore, and operating profit (EBITDA) rose 3.9% to Rs 1,174 crore. However, EBITDA and PAT margins both declined slightly. CEO A.S. Lakshminarayanan highlighted strong growth in the digital portfolio, including government projects and new offerings like Voice AI and Cloud Networking. Shares of Tata Communications rose 4% after the results were announced.
