Tatmadaw regains control of Hsipaw, Shan State

Myanmar’s military restored government services in Hsipaw township after completing security operations in northern Shan State. Soldiers and civil servants welcomed residents returning home on Monday.

The township hospital treated 37 patients as medical care resumed for the community. Staff handled 33 outpatient visits and admitted four people requiring overnight stays.

Security personnel conduct patrols across the area to support residents as they rebuild their lives. Officials stated that operations aim to establish conditions for stable community development.

The military described recent activities as counter-terrorism measures aimed at protecting civilians. Authorities reopened schools and administrative offices as families returned to the township.
