Tawsif, Urbee star in new Capital drama
Capital Drama will launch Emon Dine Tare Bola Jai on Oct. 30, starring Tawsif Mahbub, Priyontee Urbee, and Mir Rabbi. Writer and director Jahid Preetom built the narrative around a love triangle that concludes with an unexpected reveal. The story explores themes about secrets kept from loved ones and memories that demand preservation.
Mahbub said he had not worked with Preetom for 2.5 years before this project marked his first collaboration with Urbee. The actor compared the plot to a maze that challenges viewer predictions. Urbee expressed anticipation mixed with anxiety about seeing herself perform.
Preetom designed the screenplay to prevent audiences from anticipating character trajectories or outcomes. Rabbi described the production as more than romance and compared it to poetry that reveals life truths. Mahtim Shakib performs the song Kajol Cokhe Bhalobas with lyrics by Neel Mahbub and composition by Shariful Islam.
