Turkmenistan beats Bangladesh to reach Cava Cup final

Turkmenistan advanced to the Central Asia Volleyball Association Cava Cup final after defeating Bangladesh 3-2 at Shahid Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium in Mirpur. The visitors maintained their perfect record by winning all four tournament matches while handing Bangladesh its first loss.

Turkmenistan rallied from a 24-21 deficit to capture the opening set 26-24. Bangladesh equalized with a 25-17 victory in the second set before Turkmenistan regained control with a 25-21 third-set win.

The hosts forced a deciding set by winning the fourth 25-20. Turkmenistan prevailed 16-14 in the final set after the teams were tied at 13-13.

Bangladesh must defeat Afghanistan on Monday to reach the final. Sri Lanka and Afghanistan each have two victories, with Sri Lanka facing Nepal on October 27.
