Union minister attends 70th Kayin State Day celebrations

Union Minister U Tin Aung San attended the 70th Anniversary of Kayin State Day yesterday, accompanied by other government officials. The ceremony, held at the state government office, began with a flag salute and tributes to national leaders. U Tin Aung San read a message from Acting President Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and participated in cutting the ribbon to mark the occasion, releasing 70 doves symbolizing peace.

Throughout the day, the Union Minister presented awards for various competitions, including the vegetables and fruits exhibition, traditional boat races, and Kayin traditional don dance troupes. He also attended events in Hpa-an, including the opening of Avenue Park and a Youth Centre, where he interacted with locals and observed cultural performances.
