GAD celebrates 37th anniversary, honors staff achievements
The 37th anniversary of the General Administration Department (GAD) was celebrated yesterday at Hotel Max in Nay Pyi Taw, with Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung and other officials in attendance. The minister highlighted GAD’s significant role in Myanmar’s administrative history, emphasizing its contributions to law enforcement, community peace, regional development, and public welfare.
He praised the GAD staff for their dedication to disaster management and rescue operations and urged continued commitment to ensuring a fair general election. The event also included the distribution of uniforms and food, along with awards for exemplary employees and students excelling in civil service courses and exams.
