Vazrazhdane accuses Peevski of taking over GERB and government control

Tsoncho Ganev, deputy chairman of “Vazrazhdane,” criticized the current Bulgarian government, claiming that GERB, ITN, and BSP are being “taken over” by Delyan Peevski and his party. He argued that GERB leader Boyko Borisov has realized that Peevski now controls the party and faces two choices: either overthrow the government or become irrelevant.

Ganev accused Peevski of controlling key institutions, especially the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and called for the government’s resignation. He warned that entering the eurozone would end Bulgaria’s sovereignty and demanded elections to reject it. “Vazrazhdane” is ready to submit a no-confidence vote, but Ganev criticized the MECH party for not supporting it. He also called for the resignation of key officials he claims are under Peevski’s influence.
