Vinit Kakar unveils unique ‘Mosquito Man’ role in ‘Divya Prem’

Actor Vinit Kakar plays the unique character of Macharasur in the show Divya Prem: Pyaar Aur Rahasya Ki Kahani. He described his role as something “I’ve never seen or heard of before,” highlighting its creative and experimental nature. Kakar shared that playing a “Mosquito Man” involved extensive discussions with the director on how the character should move, behave, and express himself, as no one had ever portrayed such a role before.

Kakar, who has experience in mythological and fantasy shows, found it easier to connect with the character but admitted that the makeup process, including prosthetics and body paint, was challenging. Despite the exhaustion, he felt the effort was worthwhile after seeing the final promo. He chose the role because it was new and exciting, and he’s eager for the audience to enjoy Macharasur as much as the team enjoyed creating him.

The show, which features Divya facing new challenges after an 8-year leap, airs nightly at 8:30 pm on Sun Neo.
