Wipro reports 2.5% QoQ profit drop in Q2 FY26

Wipro reported a 2.5% decline in its consolidated net profit for Q2 FY26, posting Rs 3,246 crore, compared to Rs 3,330 crore in the previous quarter. However, the company’s profit rose 1.2% year-on-year (YoY) from Rs 3,209 crore in Q2 FY25.

Revenue from operations increased by 1.8% YoY to Rs 22,697 crore, and grew 2.5% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) from Rs 22,135 crore in Q1 FY26. Wipro’s expenses rose by over 2% YoY to Rs 19,378 crore.

The IT services revenue stood at Rs 22,640 crore, and the operating margin was 16.7%, impacted by a one-time provision of Rs 116.5 crore. Wipro expects its IT services revenue for the next quarter to grow between -0.5% and +1.5% sequentially.
