ZANU-PF now defines Zimbabwe’s political reality
A political commentator recently stated that ZANU-PF has grown beyond being just a political party, calling it the “political ecosystem” of Zimbabwe. Derick Goto posted on X (formerly Twitter) that recent events show a deeper change in the country’s politics. He argued that ZANU-PF is now central to every national discussion, from fiscal policy to social issues, and that even opposition groups are shaped by it. Goto described the party as the “living architecture of the state,” stating it has moved past traditional politics of ruling and opposition. He emphasized that ZANU-PF is now the main force driving Zimbabwe’s political direction.
